AI for Content Creation

One idea, ten formats. How to use AI to scale your content output without scaling your time.

The content pyramid

One long-form piece of content is the foundation. AI helps you break it into dozens of short-form pieces — without creating each one from scratch.

The flow: film a 30-minute video or write a 1,500-word article. Feed it to AI. Get back 10 tweet ideas, 5 TikTok scripts, 3 email drafts, and 5 captions. One input, many outputs.

Prompt
I [wrote/filmed/recorded] about [topic]. Here is the content: [paste or summarize it]

Give me:
- 10 tweet ideas (vary formats: questions, observations, lists, hot takes)
- 5 short-form video script hooks (under 15 words each)
- 3 email subject lines
- 5 Instagram/TikTok captions
- 2 LinkedIn post angles

Keep my voice: [describe your tone — direct, casual, technical, etc.]

Writing with AI — the right workflow

1. **Outline with AI** — give it your topic and target audience, ask for an outline

2. **Draft with AI** — use the outline to generate sections

3. **Edit heavily yourself** — cut the filler, add your specific examples, add your voice

4. **Final pass yourself** — AI-written content has patterns. Break them.

The editing step is non-negotiable. AI-generated content that's posted without heavy editing sounds like AI-generated content.

Images and visuals

Midjourney for high-quality creative — brand visuals, product concepts, artistic content.

DALL-E 3 (inside ChatGPT) for fast, good-enough assets — quick illustrations, simple concepts.

For social media: generate 10 variations and pick the best 2. Midjourney's grid of 4 options per prompt makes this fast.

Video content workflow

1. Script with Claude or ChatGPT

2. Record yourself (or use ElevenLabs for voiceover)

3. Generate b-roll with Runway

4. Edit in CapCut or Premiere

For faceless content: Runway for visuals + ElevenLabs for voice + CapCut for editing is a full workflow that requires no camera.

The editing rule — non-negotiable

AI writes the first draft. You write the final draft.

Your voice is the brand. AI can approximate your style but can't replicate your specific observations, your personal stories, your genuine opinions. Those are what make content worth following.

Use AI for structure and volume. Show up with the ideas only you have.

Takeaway

AI scales content production. You still have to show up with original ideas and edit the output into something worth reading.
